A comprehensive workshop focusing on Gender Advocacy and Development (GAD) agenda was conducted by Tanay Water District’s (TanWD) GAD Focal Point System (FPS). The event, which spanned from July 31st to August 2nd, 2023, took place at the Eugenio Lopez Center in Antipolo City.
Attended by 17 members, including top management, supervisors, and staff of TanWD, the workshop was led by TanWD General Manager Emmanuel Catolos, GAD ExeCom Chairperson, and Ms. Vickyflor Catapusan, GAD Technical Working Group (TWG) Chairperson.
Guided by seasoned GAD advocate Mr. Raymond Jay L. Mazo, the workshop aimed to shape TanWD’s gender mainstreaming efforts over the next six years. The objectives included formulating TanWD’s GAD strategic framework and plan, with the optimistic expectation that this effort will lead to a more GAD-responsive District.
