Employees of Tanay Water District (TanWD) joined the kick-off ceremony motorcade that signaled the start of Fire Prevention Month (FPM) on March 2, 2024.
Tanay Fire Station personnel led the motorcade, which traversed Tanay’s major streets. Other agencies, including the local government of Tanay’s MDRRMO and PSO, barangay officials, and civil-society organizations also took part in the annual event.
Elements of the BJMP, 80th Infantry Battalion, and 2nd Infantry Division PA also joined the motorcade.
Fire Prevention Month motorcades aim to raise awareness among Tanay residents on the importance of preventing fire incidents at home, in workplaces, and other establishments. TanWD regularly joins the yearly FPM activities as part of the agency’s commitment to ensuring the fire safety not only within its premises and facilities, but also that of the community.
